Crayon rocks

Crayon rocks are simply the best coloring tool for young children!

Made in rural Kentucky, USA from soybean wax, they are vibrantly colored and create beautifully textured artwork similar to oil pastels.

These rocks are made from soy wax and come in 8 colors: red, green, blue, egg yolk yellow, black, brown, orange, and purple, all in a Blue Velvet Bag.

The hallmark of these crayons are their ergonomical shape. Often used by occupational therapists and preschool teachers, they were specifically designed to strengthen the tripod grip muscles in young children and improve fine motor coordination.

The shape of the Crayon Rocks also allows small fingers to color easily in large, wide strokes. These are developmentally appropriate for young children.

Crayon rocks are1 ¼ x 3/4 inch long and very durable. Although appearing smaller, volume is actually equal to that of major brand stick crayons. Crayon Rocks are also non-toxic.

The recommended age by the manufacturer is 3+. However, with supervision, these are great for young children who are just beginning their coloring journey.
